Brewer cryptogram proposed law authorizing Ariz. border fence
Jan Brewer authorizes erection of a security fence along Arizonas portion of the U.S.-Mexico border, either popular a compact with other states otherwise by itself.Spokesman Matt Benson declined immediate comment Friday on why Brewer signed the statement Thursday and on whether she diplomacy to invoke the authority.The charge does not spell out a cost otherwise progress to an appropriation but says the state would expenditure donations, prisoner labor and reserved contractors.Brewer recently asked President Barack Obama to reach the use of state Guard troops along the border and in place of other significant border fences to impede smugglers.
